The process includes:

  • Conducting a company name search and reservation with SSM.

  • Submitting the incorporation documents to SSM.

  • Paying the necessary registration fees.

  • Holding the first Board of Directors’ Meeting.

  • Opening a corporate bank account.

  • Receiving the Certificate of Incorporation from SSM.

Typically, the company name search and approval take about 2 working days. Once approved, document preparation takes 1 working day. After submission to SSM, the incorporation process takes approximately 1-2 working days.

To incorporate a Sdn Bhd, you need:

  • At least one shareholder.
  • At least one director who ordinarily resides in Malaysia.

  • A licensed company secretary.

  • A registered business address in Malaysia.

We offer two packages:

  • Basic Incorporation Package: RM 2,000 (includes all SSM fees, no SST).

  • Comprehensive Package: RM 2,588 (includes all SSM fees + 1 year of Company Secretary services worth RM 960, no SST).

Yes, foreigners can incorporate a company in Malaysia. However, they must have at least one local director with a Malaysian residential address.

You will need:

  • Director’s and Shareholder’s IC Copy (or Passport copy for foreigners)

  • Malaysian residential address of Directors & Shareholders

  • Email address and contact details of Directors & Shareholders

  • Shareholding percentage and paid-up capital information

  • Business nature and proposed company name

Yes, under the Companies Act 2016, every Sdn Bhd must appoint a licensed Company Secretary within 30 days of incorporation.

No, the registered address must be a proper business address, not a residential address.

After incorporation, we will prepare board resolutions and necessary documents to facilitate opening a corporate bank account with your preferred bank.

There is no minimum paid-up capital requirement, but we recommend starting with at least RM1,000 for credibility.

Yes, you can apply for a company name change with SSM, but it requires approval and an additional fee.

You will need to go through the proper company deregistration or winding-up process with SSM, which involves settling outstanding liabilities and submitting the necessary documents.
